Geocento and Urbetho CF are pleased to announce the further expansion of their long-standing collaboration. A centrepiece of this cooperation is Geocento's Lyra service, which is already successfully deployed within Germany's CODE-DE-Lab project. Lyra is Geocento’s white‑label solution for virtual Earth Observation constellation management and operations. It enables organisations to operate their own branded, self‑managed virtual constellation, enhancing existing services, strengthening client relationships, and supporting flexible data‑provider lifecycle management. Lyra allows CODE-DE-Lab users to search for and retrieve Earth observation data directly, according to the credits granted by the German Space Agency at DLR. Urbetho provides the end-to-end support for users—from the credit application process to the seamless integration of data into the processing environment on the CloudFerro Cloud.

In a further evolution of their collaboration, development is underway to incorporate additional newspace data sources, enabling CODE-DE-Lab users to access commercial datasets through a unified graphical user interface (GUI). Combined with the extensive processing power of CloudFerro’s sovereign and BSI‑certified infrastructure, this creates a secure and highly efficient solution tailored to the needs of government agencies and public‑sector organisations working with Earth Observation data.

About the Partners:
